Some of the US Merchants ask for a US Phone number when I check out on their sites, what should I do?

You can use your own phone number or you can use the Jet Box Miami phone number by contacting one of our Customer Service Representatives.

How does Jet Box calculate the Billable Weight?

We follow the international standard to determine the volume metric weight of a shipment. All international shipping carriers base their shipping rates on the volume weight, which is the greater of Actual weight and Dimensional weight. Actual Weight is the weight of the package when put on a scale. Dimensional Weight is based on the size of the package. Large items that have a small Actual Weight, like pillows and lamp shades, will have a larger Dimensional Weight. In most cases we make all attempts to repackage items to avoid volume metric charges.

How long can I store my items with Jet Box?

Jet Box does not provide a storage service. Jet Box will notify customers upon arrival of packages into Trinidad and Tobago. After three notifications, unclaimed packages will be charged 5.00TTD per day. If packages are still unclaimed, after ONE (1) month, packages will be auctioned to recover the cost of incurred for shipping.

I want to buy items from US websites but they won't ship to my international address. Can Jet Box allow me to access these deals?

With your own US address from Jet Box, you will be able to buy goods far cheaper than otherwise possible. Most of US merchants will not ship to international addresses, but now you can! Ship the goods to your established address with us and we will take care of the rest.

Some merchants require a credit card with a US billing address. I don’t have one, what can I do?

There are several things you can do:
– A) Use our Concierge Service: Let us buy your items for you.
– B) You may try to get a debit card with the billing address as your Jet Box address.
– C) Contact your credit card issuer and request that a secondary address be added to your card. Use your Jet Box address as your secondary address. Most credit card companies will allow this.

Do You Accept Cash Payment?

We do not accept cash payments at our Office Collect locations.

Which countries do you ship to?

At present, we only ship to Trinidad & Tobago and the Caribbean.

Can I declare another value on my items in order to lower Import Duties and Taxes?
